This jacket ran a little large. I also wish it were a little bit longer. But the other day I was wearing it outside in a blizzard with 45 mile an hour winds, and I literally felt nothing! No wind, no cold, nothing. And the hood has a small visor that flips down to give extra protection against the rain/snow. I get compliments on this coat everywhere I go. I love the color too, so much better than black, grey, or brown.

I needed a really warm, wind- and water-repellant field coat for taking care of my horses in winter snow, sleet, and windy blizzards. This coat is IT! It's the warmest coat I've ever had, the hood stays up during the windiest days and it keeps me dry no matter what! Plus, the zipper and flap pockets keep out hay-and it's easy to brush off dried mud and hay flakes. If this coat was a sport, it would be a home run, a touchdown, and a hat trick all in one!

I love it! It's comfy and warm. Lots of pockets. The only thing I would change is the hood. The lining in the hood is loose. It would be better if the lining was more connected to the hood. And maybe the hood could be detachable like the men's coat does. I think I'm going to hand sew the lining to the hood with random little stitches that won't go all the way through to the outside of the hood. Like tacking so it can't be seen. Other than that I love it. It is the most most comfortable, functional and warm jacket I've ever owned. Thank you Carhartt.
