I've worn these shorts over many previous years, unfortunately in bigger sizes each year. I keep coming back and reordering these for a reason, they fit good, lots of cargo pockets to carry my EDC, and they're comfortable.????

This order brought the total number of these shorts that I own to five or six pair. I buy them for a variety of reasons, but the main reason is the number and variety of pockets included with each pair. Four pockets with Velcro-secured flaps - two of which are the cargo pockets; two traditional front pockets, the right one of which has a deeper than average "watch pocket"; a zipper pocket on the outside of the lefthand cargo pocket; finally, a phone and "miscellaneous use" pocket sewn on the outside of the righthand cargo pocket! The phone pocket is large enough to hold my Android phone, inside of the Otter case that surrounds it. The watch pocket is perfect for storing earbuds, when not in use. On top of all of this, the pants are rugged, which is what one expects from Carhartt. I'd love to find a pair of long pants, for the cooler months, that has this exact combination of pockets!! I'd buy three or four pair immediately...
