Carhartt 102359 - Full Swing® Armstrong Jacket - Sherpa Lined

coat fabric is heavy duty. I would have liked to have a heavier duty zipper as in previous Carhart. I like the absent of a hood. I have tried to find a hoodless coat locally to no avail.

I like to research important purchases like this one. Last year I bought another brand with blanket lining and found it not very warm at all. Also finding other- "major purchasing sites" run a high risk of inferior knock offs. I joined Dungarees because they have the real brand product and a good variety to choose from.So what I learned was to pick the style of Carhartt jacket first. Full swing features=BOOM! awesome for work I do.!! Collar instead of hood (just a preference for working around machinery). Then most important, Lining! Recommend to google-"types of Carhartt lining" to select for your needs. I chose sherpa/fleece in this jacket- is perfect for my regions winters. I would recommend this jacket for a durable long time,rely on jacket. Made burly tough for work. Also I bought a "Factory 2nd" (work coat) and have yet to find why it's a second. Wore in the rain already and did not get wet. Pockets, zippers, wrist cuffs and angled sleeve cut is a good feature too. Plus the extended tail is nice for bending over in the rain etc. Do the research and get what you really like. I am 6-1 250 old guy gut= 2x regular ; is roomy enough for layering, but close enough to body to retain warmth on cold winter days and nights. Just ordered a full zip hoodie with sherpa lining for around the house/yard work, also a factory 2nd. Save a few bucks in the process is nice too. Thanks Dungarees, I will tell many friends and coworkers where to get the real deal!

This is a great jacket, very comfortable and warm for those early winter mornings out on the jobsite. Outer shell is a bit stiff but not bad. I am sure that I will have this jacket for many years to come. I would highly recommend this jacket.

Finally a true to size brand. A 2xl that fits like a 2xl from 20 yrs ago, 2xl nowdays are short and slim fit, not for me.

I love Carhartt and this one is the best yet. The sleeves are nice and long with plenty of room for a full range of motion. Very warm yet not too heavyweight. Love this coat !!!

As with most Carhartt products, size-wise this coat runs on the beefier side, which is why I recommend trying it on first. However, the slightly loose fit makes it perfect for layering underneath. Otherwise, it is plenty warm, perfect for working outdoors, and looks great.

Excellent coat. I'll just start off with the zipper. It's durable no doubt, but I did have to oil it a few times as it was really stiff --but I know it will 'wear down' over time (heck, it's brand new brass). Great otherwise, no issues at all. Not bulky, I prefer the non active jacket bottoms as I like to have a little ventilation as needed and don't like the constriction around my waist. I am pretty sure I will be buying another as one of my kids pretty much adopted this jacket. Great coat for the Cape Cod area where it gets cold, and it works really well with a hoodie underneath. I did spray it with Scotch Guard a few times (light coats over a few days) to assist in the water repellency. There are really no issues other than the zipper, but as stated above I know the brass will wear in after some time and wont be as stiff.

Wanted to love and it and was so excited to recieve it. Unfortunately was far too big on me. Some Carhartt fits me true to size and other products, historically jackets run big. Customer service was beyond hospitable and accommodating and helped me get a return shipping label dialed in. Will order smaller size when order processed. Love Carhartt and will continue to shop with them.
