Purchased this for my 65lb pit bull and at first we thought he may break it since we never buy anything with a clamp, we always buy buckles, but we thought we’d give it a try, we’ll it turns out this thing is very, VERY durable, we let him outside hooked up to his cable and he went housing through the yard and snapped the cable, we thought for sure he busted the clasp but when he came running back into the house , about a doors worth of broken cable was hanging from his new collar lol, definitely durable and looks great , we love it

My 80+ lb 9 month old Labrador Retriever requires a tough durable collar & leash that will stand up to his rough and tumble puppy ways. Despite outgrowing his 1st collar Carhartt has lasted ( 5 months so far) through all the seasons of weather and even saltwater. It hasn’t shown signs of wear and tear from him scratching either.
