Carhartt 101105 - Women's Force® Equator Jacket

I bought this jacket in December 2016 and it is of course a shell jacket. I will bead in a light rain and keep the water off, but don't go out in real rain, since you will get soaked. I was very surprised that a rain jacket, should be a rain jacket!!! You may need to re-word this jacket as it is not waterproof!!!

I'm very pleased with the styling: high visibility detailing and extended back for coverage. The fit is perfect, and the color is what I expected from the description. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a great jacket, true to size and exactly as described. It's very comfortable, has great pockets and is very stylish. I just love it! It's made very well and I just know that I'll get years and years of use out of it. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this wonderful jacket in an XS and it fits perfectly. I'm 5'2" and 106 lbs. It keeps me warm and dry while I am outside in the rain with my horse. The fabric is not restricting and keeps me from getting sweaty. The water just beads up and dries quickly!! I love the high neck and hood as it really keeps the rain off my face and neck. The adjustable sleeve cuffs are great and the zippered outside pockets are deep and perfectly placed. The two inside pockets (one zipper, one velcro) are an added bonus and are good for keys, phone, or other small items. I got the Island Blue and it is so pretty and flattering that it brightens my mood when I wear it. Can't say enough good things about this jacket and I recommend it without reservation. Oh, I almost forgot about the adjustable hem and nice longish length which covers my rear end. Another outstanding Carhartt product!!!!! I LOVE this jacket and am really glad I read the previous reviews because they are right---this is a great jacket in every way.

This is a very nice jacket. It's always a bonus getting it at closeout price with a stanley thermos mug/bottle to boot. I was worried the wild pink would be a hot pink because colors on a screen differs from reality. I'm quite pleased that it's not hot but more a suttle dark pink not quite red...very nice. Although the shoulders could be a bit wider across the back to eliminate tightness in the upper arm overall it's a good fit. I look forward to many years with this jacket as with all carhart products I have. you won't be dissappointed if you choose this jacket.

I’ve worn this jacket in rain, snow, and wind and it is awesome! The fabric is remarkably supple—it moves with you whether you are wearing the jacket as part of layering for the cold or simply as a shell to keep out the rain. As a geologist, I have to be comfortable while working—whether it’s at 12,000’ or at sea level. The jacket breathes really well and the roomy zippered pockets are a plus. Sizing is true. I’ve been complimented on this jacket—it looks good (yes, you can wear it in the city and be cool). Most importantly, it has the quality of workmanship that my friends, co-workers, and I expect of Carhartt.
