Carhartt 100681 - Women's Kane Double Front Sandstone Duck Relaxed Fit Pant

I like double knee pants, they're rugged and have lots of pockets. I usually buy the mens because they actually have a hammer loop that works and front pockets that aren't "short-sheeted" like the women's pants. I'll never understand why they do this to women's pants but to me it doesn't make sense. They fit great and I can keep my cell phone in the right side pocket. Oh, and they're not men's pants that are shortened, I know the difference. If you're a tradesperson and want a durable pair of work pants these are good, except for the pretend hammer loop which is ridiculous. If you read this Carhartt please address these issues.

But good thick working pants which is why I got them. Front waist is a bit high and the bottoms are wider than expected

Yes they run huge. That's because they are actually men's paints...high waisted and tube straight in the hips. The size 6 I purchased is actually a 34" waist. Now why would Carrhart sell men's pants as womans pants? Because its cheaper for them to just cut the legs shorter on mens paints than to actually pattern for women.

I initially ordered a size 12 going by previous reviews stating these ran large. For me it wasn't so. Sent back for a size 16 and still are a little snug in the hips. But I believe they'll work fine. As far as being "seconds" I have yet to find the flaw. Great pair of pants and a great deal.

I wear a size 6 and because of the reviews, I ordered size 4. When they arrived I tried them on and although the tag said size 4..ha.ha.ha they were about a size 10. Return and won't purchase again from this company.

I have gotten spoiled with the fact that most women’s pants have a little stretch in them. I wore these for a week doing volunteer work and still wasn’t used to how stiff the fabric is. I believe the pants are probably indestructible and I’m hoping that a dozen more washes will make them easier to squat in. Miss my Carhartt original women’s straight leg jeans!

1. Bought these twice..they are HUGE! So i have an 8 and a 6. They fit like men's jeans in the hips, then get HUGE. 2. Can't get hands in front pockets. 3. Bought these a year ago from Dungarees both times for $19.99 and now i see they are $29.99. I wear these to run errands, not do actual work in. The material is tough, but lacks flexibility. the cut was fine, but ENORMOUS. I ordered 2 sizes smaller than I usually wear in this brand, but still I could put them on and take them off without unzipping or unbottoning. Nuts.

I wear a 6 in carhartt usually. Given the reviews I went ahead and ordered a 4.....me and my friends could all fit in these at the same time. 2 sizes too big. Damn
