Great pants for work, I work in a grocery store bakery and it is physically demanding. These pants are very flexible and comfortable all day. The back pockets don't wear out from carrying pens, box cutters, etc like denim or twill. My company has a dress cde and I was told that I always look professional. The only negative is when I ordered direct from Carharrt online there isn't an option for short length.

I think they're pretty great. I'm a farmer and use a holster / scabbard for my pruners, that clips onto my pocket. I think some reinforcement on the pocket would be a good idea, so that it doesn't wear out if you clip something there, like a knife or whatever. Also, I think a loop for keys would be nice. I keep my keys on a carabiner and clip them on a belt loop, and tuck them in my pocket, when I'm wearing other work pants.
